About My Clients
We specialize in working with military and young adults who need support to help guide them with their journey as they redefine their future. Individuals who are seeking the skills to aid in self-discovery and seeking resources to enhance their abilities to preserve and overcome life base difficulties. We have experience treating trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, and grief. Services are also designed for families who need intensive services and require the therapist to provide in-home services.
My Background and Approach
Dr. Black is accepting clients who are primarily interested in EMDR therapy with sprinkles of talk therapy to treat trauma, anxiety, and depression. We strive to promote positive social change through an unconditional positive regard lens. Our passion lies in the development of helping individuals and the reintegration of positive and healthy lifestyles for families. We are here to help support you through adversity, resiliency, trauma, parenting, relationships, self-love and anything you need that enhances your skills to become a better you. Our goal is to connect with you on your journey as you live a more purposeful life.

We use a use a wide range of research-proven therapy techniques to help transform anxiety, depression, and loneliness into joy, freedom, and connectedness. Whatever your situation, our goal is to help you find clarity, purpose, and strength. As a military spouse, adversity and resiliency are consistent in life. Dr. Black volunteers with Give an Hour platform which offers free therapy services for military and their families.
