About My Clients
Marlo enjoys working with people that are in their late teens through adulthood. Many of Marlo’s clients experience guilt, anger, depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, self-harm, relationship issues, and feeling overwhelmed with life, school, or work. Working with me involves changing thoughts and behaviors, while adding in holistic approaches such as mindfulness, meditation, and self-care. I offer a non-judgmental environment where you are the expert in your life.
My Background and Approach
Clients learn skills from Emotional Freedom Technique and tapping, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Shadow Work, Inner Child Work and mindfulness. Marlo is a collaborative therapist who promotes self-compassion and self-understanding. Her goal is to help clients find a way of living that promotes balance, joy, peace, and fulfillment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every person deserves to live the type of life that feeds their soul. I believe that people want to feel better and are doing the best they can. I love animals, and believe that they are therapeutic in many ways. I have a passion of working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. I have a passion for life, and understand that sometimes bad things happen, and we have to find the best ways to cope with it.
