About My Clients
Maybe you’ve spent years reading the room, walking on eggshells, overthinking, or putting everyone else first, and you’re starting to notice how those experiences still show up today. Or maybe you’re a parent trying to understand what’s underneath your child’s big emotions or behaviors. Wherever you’re starting from, therapy can be a space to slow down, get curious, and make sense of what’s going on.
My Background and Approach
I have 9 years of experience supporting children, teens, adults, parents, and families. I specialize in ADHD and hold an ADHD-CCSP certification. I’ve also completed advanced training in play therapy methodologies and am working toward my Registered Play Therapist (RPT) designation. I work with ADHD, anxiety, C-PTSD and attachment wounds, BPD, depression, perfectionism, rejection sensitivity, emotional regulation, self-esteem, and life transitions. With children and parents, I also support challenging behaviors, PDA, school avoidance, defiance, parenting concerns, and family conflict or separation. My approach may include IFS-informed work, play and art therapy techniques, DBT, ACT, expressive modalities, and somatic-based interventions. Whether you’re 7 or 37, there’s room for creativity, humor, curiosity, and even a little fun alongside the harder work.
Why I am a Good Fit for You
I believe therapy is about more than learning the right tools or techniques. Those things are absolutely important, but feeling safe, understood, and genuinely connected to the person sitting across from you matters just as much. I’m not a blank-slate therapist. I’m warm, engaged, and human in the room. I’ll show up with you, ask questions, share observations, celebrate your wins, and help you make sense of the things that feel hard. My goal is to create a space where you, or your child, can show up exactly as you are. We’ll do meaningful work, but it doesn’t have to feel serious all the time. We can laugh, get creative, be curious, and sit with the hard stuff together. Some of the best work happens when you feel comfortable enough to fully be yourself, and maybe even enjoy being here. I provide gender-affirming and LGBTQ+ centered care and am happy to advocate for you or your child when needed.
