My Background and Approach
My goal as your therapist is to give you a non-judgmental and collaborative approach. I pull from different theoretical orientations including cognitive behavioral therapy, emotional-focused, family systems and evidence based approaches in order to customize a plan that is specific to your current life and lifestyle needs. I am here to help and give you the support you need.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a first generation graduate student, who was born outside of the United States. I have experienced the limitations as an immigrant at a very young age. I hold value to my support system and the family members and friendships I have develop over time. I believe that you have the power to heal by taking the first step into starting therapy. Your story deserves to be listened to! I would like to help you overcome the struggles that you are currently facing. I want to give you a safe environment where you can be yourself. I know you are capable of achieving any goal you have been dreaming of!
