My ideal clients wish to improve communication, connection and intimacy by recognizing and overcoming the negative dynamics that interfere with their capacity to have close, connected relationships.
My Background and Approach
I have over 25 years of experience in private practice, helping couples and individuals create fufilling relationships and optimal lives. I've been thoroughly trained in a number of approaches, including psychodynamic/depth-oriented therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and somatic psychotherapy for individuals, as well as Imago and Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples. In my work with couples, I help people overcome negative interaction patterns and create close, connected, loving and conscious relationships. As a certified Instinctive Meditation teacher and registered yoga teacher, I also use mindfulness approaches to help individuals overcome anxiety and depression. I am a PSYPACT certified clinician, and can provide psychotherapy services via telehealth to clients in 26 US states: AL, AZ, AK, CO, DE, DC, GA, IL, KY, ME, MD, MN, MO, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NC, OH, OK, PA, TN, TX, UT, VA, WV
