About My Clients
You don’t have to work through your problems alone. There’s help. Change and starting new things can be scary for all of us, but sometimes when we do scary things, with a little help, we can grow. My goal for you is to feel empowered, confident, and comfortable in your own skin. You will learn more about yourself and your capability to take on the world. You will become your biggest fan, right beside me.
My Background and Approach
I completed my master’s degree at Columbia University in New York. I have worked throughout the United States either performing or supporting therapy. During my studies and work I have concentrated on working with women, children, adolescents, and families. I have experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, ADHD, family relationships, grief, and other issues. I have worked with people from different backgrounds, ethnicities, races, sexual orientations, and religions. I am an open minded individual and respect everyone’s lifestyles. I use evidence based treatments in my practice. Everyone is different, so everyone’s therapy will look different. I am a visitor in your life and will collaborate with you to find what works for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My goal in life is to become the best therapist I can be. I believe therapists should never stop learning new things. That’s why you will always see me reading and learning. I also learn from each of my clients. The way people cope with difficulties in their lives, move forward through challenges, their stamina for life, their humor; it’s all inspiring.
