About My Clients
I work with clients seeking support through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions. I also offer adoption-competent therapy, helping adoptees, adoptive parents, and birth parents explore identity, attachment, and family dynamics in a safe, non-judgmental space. Whether you’re struggling with self-esteem, stress, relationships, or deeper emotional wounds, I meet you where you’re at and help guide change one step at a time.
My Background and Approach
With over 16 years of experience, I bring both clinical training and lived-practice wisdom to therapy. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling and have worked in a variety of settings, including outpatient and community care. My approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and collaboration — we work together to build insight, strengthen skills, and create meaningful shifts in your life. I integrate evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed Care (TIC), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Person-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness strategies, and supportive grief work to tailor treatment to each person’s unique needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when people feel truly seen, heard, and safe. I value integrity, genuine connection, and strength fostered through vulnerability. My goal is to help you discover hope and resilience — and to walk alongside you as you create real and lasting change.
