About My Clients

I work with people who feel 'stuck' or 'out of sync' in their life. They may be struggling to meet expectations (from others or yourself), repeating unhealthy patterns, or feeling conflicted, unmotivated or unsatisfied with their life.

My Background and Approach

I began training in ACT during graduate school, and have since pursued advanced training in that model. While working in opioid treatment, I began to appreciate the impact that trauma has on psychological functioning. I pursued training in the treatment of trauma, including IFS. Mindfulness is a major component of both ACT and IFS, and has been shown to be an important component of healthy mental hygiene. I have been studying meditation for nearly 20 years, and am a certified mindfulness meditation teacher. Many clients find mindfulness meditation to be a valuable adjunct to our clinical work.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that everyone deserves to feel heard, seen and understood. No matter our background or circumstances, we all just want to live with more joy and less suffering.
