About My Clients
My clients are often navigating sudden loss, complicated grief, trauma, PTSD, or suicide bereavement. Many come to therapy feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, and unsure how to keep functioning. I’m honored to walk alongside people during some of the most vulnerable and painful moments of their lives, offering a steady, compassionate space for healing and support. As a private- pay practice, I provide monthly superbills to my clients seeking out-of-network reimbursement.
My Background and Approach
My background in Clinical Social Work is grounded in trauma-informed care, with a Master’s degree emphasizing the impact of trauma on emotional, cognitive, and relational functioning. I bring the core values of social work into my practice, including the dignity and worth of each person, the importance of human connection, service, and social justice. I work from a client-centered, and integrative clinical framework. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each person’s needs, recognizing that there is no single path to healing. I draw from evidence-based approaches including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). My work is guided by the belief that effective therapy integrates clinical skill with a strong therapeutic relationship. I prioritize creating a consistent, grounded space where clients can engage in meaningful therapeutic work.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
The way I show up in my work is deeply shaped by my belief that people deserve care that honors the fullness of who they are—their identities, their bodies, their relationships, and their lived experiences. My approach includes body-positivity, sex-positivity, and racial justice–informed values. I am an LGBTQIA+ ally, and I care deeply about creating an affirming space where clients feel respected, welcomed, and able to be fully themselves without judgment. I’m committed to ongoing learning around systems of power, identity, and lived experience, and I try to bring cultural humility and openness into both my clinical work and my relationships with clients. More than anything, I value the therapeutic relationship and creating spaces rooted in compassion, dignity, and equity—where people feel safe enough to be honest about what they’re carrying.
