About My Clients
I work with adults, teens, couples, and families facing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, grief, and life transitions. My clients often feel overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck, or unsure of their next step. Together, we create a safe space to work through challenges, build healthier relationships, develop practical tools, and move toward healing and growth.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adults, teens, couples, and families. My approach to counseling is warm, practical, and focused on creating a safe environment where clients feel heard, understood, and supported. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), along with other evidence-based techniques, to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I believe counseling is about more than identifying problems; it’s about developing practical tools, increasing self-awareness, strengthening relationships, and creating meaningful change. For clients who desire it, I am also comfortable incorporating faith and Christian principles into the counseling process.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person has value, purpose, and the ability to grow through life’s challenges. Counseling should be a safe place where you can be yourself without fear of judgment. I believe healing begins when we are willing to be honest about where we are and take steps toward where we want to be. My goal is to walk alongside you, encourage personal responsibility, help you discover your strengths, and provide practical tools for lasting change. When desired by the client, I also welcome the opportunity to incorporate Christian faith and biblical principles into the counseling process.
