About My Clients
I am a psychotherapist with extensive experience working with individuals from the LGBTQAI+ community as well as individuals who have experienced trauma. I honor and embrace diversity in sexuality and gender. I offer a safe and welcoming environment for clients to process difficult experiences and ultimately heal and find peace.
My Background and Approach
My counseling approach incorporates evidence-based therapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy and trauma-informed care. I help clients identify and challenge negative thoughts and beliefs, and develop coping skills to manage their symptoms. I also incorporate a strong emphasis on promoting a sense of self-acceptance and resilience. I completed a MSSA degree through Case Western Reserve University and have undergraduate and graduate degrees from Rutgers University. Your mental health needs and empowerment are important to me and will be met with effective care.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I look at therapy as a journey. My compassionate and non-judgmental approach empowers clients to navigate the healing journey, and work towards a brighter future. My goal is to help clients regain a sense of control and confidence, and live fulfilling lives aligned with their authentic selves. You and I will work collaboratively in exploring your life experiences, thoughts, and emotions and will ultimately find a pathway allowing you to reach your full potential.
