About My Clients

My clients are couples and individuals navigating some of the most personal challenges a person can face — relationship conflict, sexual disconnection, infidelity, and loss of intimacy. Many have tried to work through it on their own before reaching out. Others are not sure whether what they are experiencing is normal or something worth addressing. What they share is a desire for something better — in their relationship, their sexuality, or both. If that resonates, you are in the right place.

My Background and Approach

I hold EFT certification in couples therapy through ICEEFT and AASECT certification in sex therapy — a combination that is rare in the Baltimore area. These are not general credentials. EFT certification requires supervised training specifically in couples work and demonstrated clinical competency. AASECT certification requires extensive supervised training in human sexuality beyond standard licensure. I built my practice around both because relationship distress and sexual disconnection are almost always intertwined, and addressing only one rarely produces lasting change. My approach draws on Emotionally Focused Therapy, CBT from the Beck Institute, and AASECT-certified sex therapy. I work with couples navigating conflict, betrayal, intimacy issues, and second marriages, and with individuals addressing sexual concerns including low desire, erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, and out-of-control sexual behavior. I work with clients of all backgrounds, orientations, and relation

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that intimacy — emotional and sexual — is central to human wellbeing, not peripheral to it. When it is working, it sustains people through everything else. When it is not, it affects everything else. I founded CICC because I wanted to build a practice that took that seriously — one where the clinical standards, the credentials, and the environment reflect how much this work matters to the people who need it. I am committed to providing affirming, non-judgmental care to clients of all sexual orientations, gender identities, relationship structures, and faith traditions. That includes LGBTQ+ couples, religiously observant clients, and people navigating relationships that do not fit a standard template. My practice is a place where people can speak honestly about their sexuality and their relationships without shame or judgment — and where the therapist they are working with has the specific training to actually help.
