It's a crazy time to be a young adult. You're trying to find your own identity & independence, but things both externally & internally feel like they're constantly changing! With these ongoing life transitions, you can feel anxious or burnt out. I have spent years helping young adults across the U.S. & Europe navigate these struggles, and I have also lived this out myself. My goal is to help you identify your values and give you tools to control your emotions to confidently create your own path.
My Background and Approach
You might have heard the phrase, "you must feel it to heal it." With my background in EFT and neuroscience, I can help you learn to do just that. I bring a warm and compassionate presence to the therapy room, allowing you to safely process present emotions, past wounds, or future worries. I'm here to meet you where you are at, and to go at your pace. At the same time, I help equip you with proven practices that help regulate your nervous system and feel more "in touch" with your brain, body, and sense of self. Not only will you feel more connected with yourself, you will become more confident in who you are and what you want to pursue. Though the road ahead feels uncertain, you can develop the strength to step into it and come out the other side.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It was during my late teens and early twenties when I was faced with drastic changes to my living situation, career aspirations, and peer & romantic relationships. Along the way, I felt overwhelmed, defeated, and alone. However, I was met with friends, mentors, and therapists who walked with me through these transitions. Their presence, wisdom, and encouragement helped me develop my inner strength to find my way forward. From the ways I've learned to navigate my emerging adulthood, I've grown a passion to help others do the same. As an ethnic minority who has lived in multiple parts of the U.S. & Europe, I enjoy and value the various intersections that make us unique. Whether arts, sports, language & culture, spirituality, and neuroscience, there's some way we can connect. I invite you to bring your whole self, even if you don't feel "put together."
