My educational background includes Political Science, Psychology and social work. Following my graduate studies, I attended professional training at the Washington School of Psychiatry. I'm licensed in Maryland and the District of Columbia. I support both men and women of color trying to navigate mental health and therapy. Clients who are looking to integrate more adaptive coping skills, feel better about themselves or reframe their self-talk will benefit highly from my integrative style.
I am a trained Brainspotting therapist. I have experience and training in Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy, mindfulness, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Solution focused therapy (brief) and attachment based therapy with emphasis on the impact of generational, environmental and racial trauma.
