I have worked with a wide range of individuals and families struggling with a diverse array of problems and stressors. I enjoy working with individuals and families that are motivated and determined to make lasting changes in their lives. I am inspired by everyones different story and strongly believe that when there is a will there is a way. I am passionate in supporting people in growing to become the person they want to be and creating the life they desire.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Marissa Morin is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate in the state of Washington and Connecticut. Marissa has clinical experience with children, adolescents, young adults, individuals, couples, and families. Marissa specializes in family therapy, supporting families as they navigate diverse normative and non normative stressors. Marissa understands the ripple effect that stress, trauma, and grief (to name a few) can have on individuals and families, and thus approaches therapy from a non-pathologizing and non-blaming lens. Marissa’s specialties include family conflict, depression, and anxiety, in which she operates from a systemic and relational framework. Marissa is passionate about identifying ineffective and harmful patterns in individuals lives, relationships, and families, and collaborating with clients and families to devise a plan where clients are empowered to interrupt and change the patterns that are keeping them stuck.
