About My Clients
Sometimes, life feels too stressful. Perhaps you find yourself picturing the worst case scenario. Maybe you struggle to prioritize your own needs or find it difficult to say no. You may be wondering why your relationships are not what you hoped for, or you might be noticing how overwhelmed you feel by decision-making. You might feel anxious, worried, or depressed by pregnancy, postpartum, or parenting. Together, we can explore how to make changes and choices that help.
My Background and Approach
I have been working with parents, professionals, children, and families for over fifteen years. My experiences as a school social worker, social justice advocate, preschool director, clinical director, and clinical supervisor are all part of who I am as a therapist. I have a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education from Miami University and a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Chicago. I offer a client-centered, personalized approach, with sessions that are conversational, comfortable, and compassionate. Our sessions may integrate modalities such as, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, creating a space that is the right fit for you.
