About My Clients
I tend to work with clients who are within the LGBTQ+ community who are dealing with new or chronic symptoms of depression, anxiety and grief.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is to show up as genuinely and authentically as possible. It's important to me that my clients know that I am a human being working with another human being to sort through the messiness of life. This means, that our sessions will be full of all the serious and meaningful conversation necessary to do the healing that you are looking for; but ALSO funny, silly and light hearted when you need a break. I know that you are the expert on you experience and I keep that in mind every step of the way. The goal for me in therapy it to ensure that you feel empowered, heard, understood and validated. You will be reminded and empowered to let me know when things aren't working for you or something needs to be adjusted. You will also know that you can always tell me that you need to take a break from the conversation or that you're not ready to address that topic yet. I am here to walk with you wherever it may take us and to ensure you have a friendly face when you arrive.
