About My Clients

My clients are college students, graduate students, and young working professionals who are having difficulty navigating all the challenges that come in our 20s and 30s. They are often high-functioning on the outside (good grades, good degree, good job, good partner), but they are low-functioning on the inside (anxious, depressed, codependent, and dealing with unresolved trauma). They are eager to invest their time, money, and energy in therapy to make some much needed changes.

My Background and Approach

I am a millennial therapist and I do my best work with young wo/men. My treatment focuses include: codependency, depression, anxiety, trauma (EMDR), and attachment in young adults (ages 18-29). I help my clients identify their negative behaviors, patterns, and beliefs about themselves that likely stem from their childhood then we CHALLENGE those and create healthier and more adaptive behaviors, patterns, and beliefs to successfully transition into adulthood.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy is needed. I went to my first therapy session at 20 and it made a profound impact in my life. I was insecure, reckless, and hated myself. With the help from my therapist (and other subsequent therapists), I was able to discard those beliefs that were no longer serving me and develop healthy coping skills, build my self-confidence, and become the woman I wanted to be. Therapy freakin' works.
