Burnout is a common experience for neurodivergent, gifted, sensitive, and twice-exceptional individuals, and is particularly prevalent in our country currently. I have worked with many clients to help them find their passion and energy again, while honoring their unique strengths and stressors.

I am an HSP myself and have helped my sensitive clients to embrace themselves by learning about and honoring their personal sensitivities. I also help them to see themselves in an empowered way, aiding them in removing internalized shame and stigma around being "too sensitive" to others and their environment.

I specialize in guiding gifted and autistic individuals, especially women who learned they were autistic as teens or adults. I am autistic and gifted myself which gives me a unique understanding of twice-/multi-exceptional clients. These life experiences also inform my perspective on therapy and give me the ability to adapt therapy techniques to how autistic/neurodivergent brains work.

I help my clients to reconnect with their authentic experiences of the world, including their body and senses. Many of my clients have experienced trauma in their lives and this has often resulted in some degree of dissociation. I teach clients the skills to come back into their bodies, to feel grounded and safe with themselves and their sensory experiences. I am able to tailor these skills to each client's needs.

I have been an integrative therapist since I began practicing as a psychologist. I believe that tailoring skills and interventions from different therapeutic approaches to each client's specific needs and situation(s) provides the most effective experience in therapy. I believe this gives clients flexibility in their own skill set and decreases the changes of wasting time in appointments learning redundant or unnecessary skills/information.
