About My Clients

I would love to be a safe person for you to process tough emotions with and to offer you some tools to help you manage.
My Background and Approach
My approach is laid back, warm, and empathetic. I prioritize safety and I cherish the rapport building aspect of therapy the most. For everyone that I work with, I want therapy to be something they look forward to. This is your time to unwind and therapy can actually be fun, hard work, but fun nonetheless. I want you to feel validated, appreciated, and uplifted. I also want to challenge you and help you address negative thinking patterns you may have. From there we can collaborative build up your tool box with your healthy ways top cope. I am a trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapist. This means that I help people recognize unhelpful thinking and to find alternative perspectives and actions. This is done while helping you get to the root of where your unhelpful thinking patterns came from. You will gain a better understanding of current and past self and you will learn to regulate tough emotions.
