About My Clients
Do you feel like you’re carrying too much—family expectations, cultural pressure, and your own emotions all at once? I help children, teens, adults, couples, and families—especially Latino and bicultural clients—who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck. Through bilingual, trauma-informed care, we slow the anxiety cycle, make sense of emotions, and build practical tools for regulation, communication, and connection so you can feel more grounded and supported.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UTSA, along with bilingual training and experience in schools, residential treatment, and behavioral health settings. I’ve had the honor of walking alongside children, teens, adults, and families as they navigate anxiety, trauma, depression, identity stress, and relationship challenges. My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and deeply collaborative. In our work together, we slow things down and create space to understand what’s really going on beneath the overwhelm. Instead of feeling like you have to push through everything alone, we focus on practical, real-life tools that help you feel more grounded, supported, and in control. Together, we’ll build coping skills, strengthen communication, and support emotional regulation in a way that feels doable and personalized to you. My hope is that you leave sessions feeling more connected to yourself, more understood, and more equipped to navigate life with clarity
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens in safe, honest, and culturally responsive spaces where people feel seen, heard, and not judged. I am committed to providing affirming care that honors identity, culture, language, and lived experience, especially for Latino and bicultural communities navigating multiple worlds at once. I value trauma-informed care, equity in mental health access, and meeting clients where they are without pressure to “have it all together.” I also believe in the importance of slowing down in a fast-paced world and helping people reconnect with themselves, their emotions, and their relationships in meaningful ways. As a bilingual clinician, I value language as a bridge to connection and healing. I am especially passionate about supporting underserved and high-acuity populations, and I carry a strong commitment to dignity, respect, and collaboration in every space I hold with clients.
