About My Clients
Do you ever feel like this world wasn’t made for you and you’re tired of trying to squeeze yourself into it? Are you queer, trans, Black, Brown, neurodivergent, or living in the in-between where folks pretend not to see you? I know that feeling of carrying too much for too long. You deserve support that’s real and grounded. I help you manage emotions, break old patterns, and build a life where you’re supported, not isolated, because healing is collective.
My Background and Approach
I come to this work as a Puerto Rican from the Bronx, raised by activists and community, and everything I learned growing up shapes how I show up as a therapist. I’m trained in DBT, mindfulness, and IFS-informed parts work, but I use these tools in a way that makes sense in real life. I help you understand your emotions, your reactions, and the patterns you picked up just trying to survive. My style is real, direct, and collaborative. We slow things down, figure out what’s happening in your mind and body, and build skills you can actually use outside of session. I’ve spent years working with queer folks, trans folks, Black and Brown folks, and anyone living in the in-between. My goal is to help you regulate, set boundaries, break old habits, and grow with support, not isolation, because healing is collective and you don’t have to do this alone.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I was raised Puerto Rican in the Bronx by parents deep in the movement, so community care and collective resistance have always been part of my life. I believe healing is something we do together, not alone. I show up as a therapist who understands that our struggles are shaped by culture, identity, oppression, and the systems we move through every day. I support queer and trans communities, Black and Brown communities, mixed folks, and anyone who grew up feeling like they had to fight for their place in the world. I believe people can grow at any age, and I’ve seen what happens when folks finally get support that feels real and affirming. Outside of session, I’m either deep in my nerd hobbies, moving my body at the gym, or out in community doing liberation work. If you want support that honors who you are and where you come from, reach out and let’s build it together.
