About My Clients
Are you living the life you want? Life can throw us curve balls that cause us to lose focus of our goals. The stress of demanding lifestyles and the fears and anxiety that arise when life suddenly changes course can have a negative effect on how we live life. Whether you’re experiencing depression, anxiety, or need help with managing stress due to recent life changes, it takes courage to ask for help and it would be an honor to assist you in moving towards a healthy and fulfilling life.
My Background and Approach
I am passionate about helping individuals regain their spark. I listen deeply so that I really understand your struggles and your most heartfelt desires. My background includes experience working at outpatient therapy agencies where I had the opportunity to soak up as much knowledge as possible and was able to narrow my clinical focus. I also have experience as a School Counselor at an online school. I believe these experiences have prepared me to open my own private practice. My counseling and therapeutic approach includes a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Client-Centered Therapy, and Career Counseling. No matter what you are facing, we will work collaboratively to address your symptoms and learn skills that will help lead you to a path for a fulfilling and successful life. Admitting you can’t do everything on your own and asking for help are the first steps toward achieving wellness.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that each one of us has the power to live a life we are passionate about. Every new breath that we take is an opportunity to alter the choices that we make and to change our experiences. I believe that everyone deserves to be happy and to be treated with kindness and respect. When I'm not practicing therapy, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my pets and my family. I love summer and find it time to re-energize and re-focus on goals. I live in Lebanon County where I have spent the majority of my life. Additionally, I lived in Puerto Rico for six years of my life and am proficient in written and verbal Spanish.
