About My Clients
We’re a good therapeutic fit if you understand your patterns but still find yourself overthinking, overextending, people-pleasing, shutting down, or carrying more than feels like yours. Maybe you’re navigating trauma, relationship challenges, or a life transition. You’re ready to get curious about what’s underneath, loosen what’s keeping you stuck, and move through life with more intention, agency, and trust in yourself.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens within relationship: our relationship with ourselves, with others, and with the experiences that have shaped us. My clinical training is rooted in relational, trauma-informed, and attachment-based work. I integrate approaches including Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, Somatics, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), tailoring our work to you rather than following a single formula. I’m especially interested in the ways our early relationships, family systems, and lived experiences shape how we protect ourselves, connect with others, and move through the world. Together, we’ll make space for insight while also paying attention to what’s happening in your body, emotions, relationships, and everyday life. I bring curiosity, clinical training, and a steady presence. You bring your lived experience. We’ll build from there.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people are shaped by their relationships and experiences, but they are never defined by them. We all develop ways of adapting to the world, often for good reasons. I believe healing begins with curiosity and compassion for those adaptations, creating space for something new. Connection is one of my deepest values. I believe we can hold complexity, difference, and even conflict without losing our humanity or our relationships. I value authenticity, curiosity, creativity, and the courage to stay present when things feel uncertain or uncomfortable. As a person, I’m thoughtful, curious, a little unconventional, and deeply interested in what makes us human. I don’t believe therapists need to have everything figured out, either. I bring my whole, imperfect self to this work while honoring the responsibility of being your therapist. I believe therapy can help us live with greater freedom, connection, and trust in ourselves.
