About My Clients
Are you ethically non-monogamous and struggling with attachment issues and jealousy? Perhaps most of your friends are monogamous and struggle to provide support that doesn't consider non-monogamy the problem. Or maybe you exist in a larger body and everywhere you turn, all you hear is that something is wrong with your body and you could fix it if you just took this GLP-1, ate that food, or exercised more. If you relate to struggling under the weight of what others want from you, I can help.
My Background and Approach
I graduated from Alliant International University with an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy in March 2024. I previously worked with children ages 9-17 who had experienced trauma. Following graduation, I worked at a general group practice seeing clients of all different backgrounds and struggles. There, I began to feel compelled to work specifically with the queer, non-monogamous, fat, neurodivergent, and disabled communities. I practice from an anti-carceral lens, believing that we should not be punished for the way we exist or the way our brains work. I primarily use a narrative lens, collaborating with my clients on rewriting the story of their life to find their own joy and power. I also include parts work, somatic exercises, DBT skills, and other tools as necessary.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a queer, genderqueer, Autistic, polyamorous person in a fat body. Social justice is at the core of what I do and what I believe. I support a free Palestine, Black Lives Matter, Land Back, abortion and reproductive rights, trans rights, and free borders. I am anti-carceral in both my practice and overall belief system. I am working on decolonization, while recognizing that it is a lifelong mission.
