About My Clients
Is your inner critic holding you back? Struggling with low self-worth? Having trouble setting and holding boundaries with others? Do you consistently break promises to yourself? I believe many of us need healing from generational trauma in order to create new patterns for our lives. Our belief about who we are informs the patterns of our behavior, the relationships we engage in, and the coping mechanisms we use. I look forward to helping you navigate your healing journey.
My Background and Approach
My approach is holistic, person-centered, and based on the belief that you are the expert on your own life. I am here to support and facilitate the change and healing you wish to achieve. I work to identify underlying causes of emotional struggle through processing difficult experiences and feelings. When we increase our awareness of the messaging we have unconsciously internalized, we can identify the ways in which we project our lived experiences and begin to heal from our past. I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Portland State University. I have gained a variety of professional experience over the last ten years, having served adults with significant mental health challenges, youth in foster care, and most recently, children and families in my role as a school social worker.
