About My Clients
D.C. is a fast-paced area of ambition and achievement. Our beloved city is also an area rife with elevated levels of stress, anxiety, depression, overwhelming expectations, and exhaustion. What emotional support is available to help manage the intense feelings that are sometimes a result of a demanding environment? My practice is ready to help individuals challenged by stress, anxiety, and burnout; with a sub-specialization in women, children, and college student mental health.

With 20 years’ experience in the field of psychology as an educational psychologist, behaviorist, and finally, an integrative mental health counselor our work together will be tailored towards your unique needs in an interactive, compassionate, therapeutically challenging and rewarding environment. You will leave our sessions feeling heard, accepted, and with tangible tools and behavioral steps towards designing and implementing your best life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every individual has the ability to build the life of their dreams and it starts with micro steps away from what isn't serving you best. My deepest curiosity is the connection between mental health and total wellness, and how it intersects with the realities of our world today. I follow research within the domains of positive psychology, perception, mindfulness, success, and behavior change from researchers such as Andrew Huberman, Adam Grant, Angela Duckworth, and Laurie Santos. In education and in practice I am honored to be surrounded by brilliant people and am truly humbled by their support. I’m excited by the challenges faced as my career unfolds, and eager to experience all life has to offer. In my spare moments you will find me joyfully exploring nature, practicing imperfect-parenting for an smart and active school-ager, reading inspirational stories, and enjoying quality time with loved ones.
