EMDR is a researched based modality to support individuals in processing their trauma utilizing a combination of talk therapy and bilateral stimulation.

I am a Registered Drama Therapist who loves getting to bring in my artsy side to sessions! "Drama therapy is an embodied practice that is active and experiential. This approach can provide the context for participants to tell their stories, set goals and solve problems, express feelings, or achieve catharsis. Through drama, the depth and breadth of inner experience can be actively explored and interpersonal relationship skills can be enhanced. "

As a chronically ill therapist myself, I know firsthand how important it can be to talk to someone who "gets it." No toxicity positivity here, but lots of support and honoring of the unique experience of navigating a world not build for chronically ill/disabled bodies. Together, we can create tools to boos day to day living as well as any processing around new/existing diagnoses.

When I am not working with my private practice clients, I work at an agency specializing in women's issues and motherhood. I work through a trauma centered, feminist and client focused lens to explore client's identities and their impact, particularly in a world that is currently targeting many identities.

As a trained Sexual Assault Counselor and survivor myself, much of my work with clients who are survivors of sexual violence is based on reconnecting to sense of self, processing the past, and rebuilding the relationship between mind and body.

When I am not at my private practice, I work at a group practice specializing in working with women as they navigate identity, motherhood, role transitions, and relationship to self. I love getting to work with my clients on building a deeper relationship with and understanding of the identities they hold.

As a disabled and neurodivergent therapist, I enjoy getting to create a space for my clients to be able to speak freely about their lived experiences of disability/chronic illness. I work from a disability justice based lens to support clients.
