I am have received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which is a evidenced based treatment for anxiety disorders. I have experience working with individuals who experience all levels of anxiety from mild to chronic panic attacks. I also utilize Mindfulness techniques and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help clients learn skills to manage symptoms of anxiety.
I am basic trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which is an evidenced based treatment for trauma. I have experience working with individuals who have significant trauma histories and understand the importance of trauma informed care.
I have experience working with individuals who have experienced mild to severe symptoms of depression. Each individual experiences depression differently. I work with the individual to identify how depression is impacting their life and identify goals to work towards utilizing different techniques.
