About My Clients
My work primarily consists of working with those who have experienced sexual abuse, domestic violence, trauma, grief, depression/anxiety, and other life transitions. My work centers specifically with women and young adults. As a first generation Latina I can understand the struggles and anxieties that can come about when seeking mental health services.
My Background and Approach
I have worked at a crisis center for domestic violence and sexual abuse, at a Children’s Advocacy Center providing services to the non-offending caregivers of children that have endured sexual abuse, and providing trauma informed therapy to adults that have experienced trauma in a community health clinic. By utilizing a person centered and integrative approach means that you (i,e., the client) are the expert and my role is to serve as your guide by helping you obtain your goals using unique and specific approaches designed for you. Rest assured that a safe, non-judgemental, environment is created in order to allow you to be your genuine and authentic self.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My style is collaborative, down-to-earth, and personalized. I believe you are the expert on your life, and my role is to walk alongside you, offering tools and insight that are tailored to your needs and goals. Whether you're working through past pain, navigating a big life change, or simply needing a space to reflect, therapy can be a powerful way to care for yourself. You don’t have to go through it alone. I’m here to support you—genuinely, wholeheartedly, and with care.
