About My Clients
Do you feel caught between who you are and who you’re expected to be? Does it feel exhausting to keep up while something underneath isn’t quite right? Many of my clients grew up where mental health wasn’t openly discussed, leading to self-doubt or pressure to push through. I work with adults, especially neurodivergent, first generation, and multicultural clients, to make sense of these experiences and create space for a way of living that feels more like your own.
My Background and Approach
I'm a licensed LCSW in Virginia and New Jersey, with an MSW from one of the few programs specially focused on Hispanic children and families. I have several years of hospice experience supporting grief, loss, and serious illness, and I bring a trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach to my work. My approach to therapy is both eclectic and holistic, meaning I’ll tailor our sessions to fit what you need, what you’ve been through, and what you hope to achieve. I use a mix of approaches like CBT, psychodynamic work, and trauma-informed techniques, all focused on practical ways to create real change. Together, we’ll explore how your mind, body, and emotions are connected, setting meaningful goals and practical steps along the way. I’m here to help you better understand what you're feeling and to support you in moving forward with more clarity and purpose.
