About My Clients
I enjoy working with adolescents age 16 and up and adults. I have experience treating clients with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, childhood and/or adult trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, and LGBTQI. I have additional training in letter writing for gender affirming procedures. I can provide supervision for temp. licensed therapist.
My Background and Approach
My clients, friends, and family would describe me as their personal cheerleader. My goal as your therapist is to help you identify what barriers are holding you back and assisting you to overcome them. I want to encourage you every step of the way. I have a wealth of experiences in the social services field prior to becoming a therapist that help inform my practice. I utilize Internal Family Systems, DBT, CBT, EMDR, Gottman Couples and narrative therapy to help you reach your goals. I completed level one IFS training in 2022.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every person I meet in and outside of the office has a unique story, is loveable, worthy, and desires safety. You will find a sign in my office that says "Everyone is welcome here" and that is not just for those identifying in a marginalized community, but also for all the parts of you that feel they don't belong.
