About My Clients
Have you been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or having difficulty navigating life due to stressful events you're experiencing? I believe that you are capable of reaching your emotional potential, balance, and happiness by accessing your inner strengths and resources for growth. I’m committed to empowering families, adolescents, couples, and individuals to develop a sense of hope. As a therapist, my goal is to create a safe space where you can talk about your struggles and worries without judgment.
My Background and Approach
I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with an MA in Counseling from the University of San Francisco. I have experience working with diverse clients in various mental health settings, including schools and community mental health agencies, with a focus on providing culturally sensitive, trauma-informed services through a social justice lens. I also provide bilingual counseling in Tagalog and English. I utilize a person-centered and strengths-based counseling approach to work collaboratively with my clients and help them reach their goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My practice is rooted in antiracism, social justice, feminism, and LGBTQ+ allyship. I am passionate about fighting mental health stigma and advocating for mental healthcare equity in BIPOC communities.
