My Background and Approach
Therapy can be a deeply connecting experience that can be vulnerable and intimate, it can also be fun have a sense of levity as we explore all the facets of what it is like to be a human in this world. I will support you to tap into the strength you need to handle the challenges you are experiencing. I am passionate about social justice and am willing to explore tough conversations about the role our identities have on our experiences in this world.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have learned though my life that I function at my best when I have had time outside and have focused my personal and professional life on finding connection to nature and the outdoors. I still continue to find new ways to utilize connection to the outdoors and nature, as well as using our bodies to find balance, stability, and a search for something to connect to a deeper sense of ourselves. I use these concepts in sessions, with a focus on our whole selves as the foundation in counseling.
