My Background and Approach
Since adolescence, I’ve aspired to become a clinical psychologist. I view my role as an advocate who empowers, facilitates change, and assists clients in accessing their inner resources for healing and elevating their quality of life. My treatment style is calm, warm, and transparent with a sprinkle of humor. I tailor my therapeutic approach to the individual, which aligns existing strengths and values with specific tools and techniques to address reported challenges. I am grateful for my broad range of clinical experience, which has allowed me to develop the expertise needed to assist individuals and families across a range of ages, identities, and presenting concerns. My clinical training took place in diverse settings, including inpatient and outpatient hospitals, community clinics, foster care, residential treatment facilities, approved private schools (APS), mobile and in-home treatment, university autism center, specialized childcare centers, and partial hospitalization programs.
