About My Clients
I love working with individuals who believe they are capable of growth and are motivated to put in the work to change in a safe space. It is extremely important to be able to connect with you and earn your trust. My clients appreciate that I can be direct when I need to be, be nurturing, be real, and share a hearty laugh from time to time.
My Background and Approach
I am trained in CBT, DBT and ACT informed, and currently pursuing certification for EMDR Therapy. I received my basic training for EMDR Therapy in 2019 and continue to further my education with this psychotherapy approach each year taking advanced trainings. I find it really important to educate clients about how the brain functions and the impact chronic trauma has on our brain as a means to empower clients that they can still significantly improve the quality of their life. Will it be slow work? Yes, but I promise you it will be totally worth the commitment. I am a huge advocate of EMDR Therapy. This approach consists of recognizing that the present day symptoms are rooted in past life experiences that were not processed on an emotional and physical level. My job is to guide you in a safe space to process the thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations that got stuck during those events/experiences in order to become more connected with your authentic self.

Discomfort is the price of admission to living a meaningful life -- get comfortable with the uncomfortable. Some of my main core values that I live by personally and professionally include accountability, authenticity, connection, mindfulness, and respect.
