About My Clients
Do your racing thoughts never give you a moment of peace? Do you feel judged when you try to explain to others how your past has impacted you? Someone may up an innocuous topic and suddenly you’re crying, heart pounding, looking for an exit. You may not even know what exactly triggers you, but you’re searching for somewhere you can be yourself and feel safe. As my client, you are safe with me. There is no judgement and no unrealistic expectations when you step into my office.
My Background and Approach
I work with young adults, adults, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community using EMDR, mindfulness, strength-based, and solution-focused approaches to help clients process and overcome struggles in their lives. My approach is warm, collaborative, and relational. You are the author of your story and you get to change the narrative when it no longer serves you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone should have access to affordable and accessible therapy. I aim to provide the best care I can for my clients at all times and I am passionate about helping others in many capacities. In my free time, I volunteer with local grassroots organizations and I am queer, Chicana, and an intersectional feminist.
