About My Clients
As an immigrant herself, I have a special interest in supporting immigrants and their families as they navigate cultural adjustment, identity, life transitions, family relationships, and the emotional challenges of building a life in a new country. She is committed to providing culturally responsive care that honors each client's unique experiences, values, and strengths.
My Background and Approach
I am a Marriage and Family Therapy Associate supervised by Andrew Ahles, LMFT-S. She is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges with compassion, cultural humility, and evidence-based care. I utilize approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients build resilience, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as your whole self and feel seen, heard, and understood without judgment. I strive to create a warm, safe, and inclusive environment where clients can explore their emotions, relationships, experiences, and the patterns that may be holding them back. I believe our families, relationships, culture, faith, and life experiences shape how we see ourselves and connect with others. My role is to walk alongside you with compassion and curiosity as you gain greater self-awareness, navigate life transitions, manage anxiety and stress, strengthen relationships, and develop healthier ways of connecting with yourself and others. Above all, I believe therapy is a collaborative process that can create space for healing, growth, and meaningful change.
