My Background and Approach
My approach is warm and collaborative, rooted in the understanding that symptoms like anxiety and disconnection are your system's best attempts to protect you. I combine advanced training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing and Brainspotting with a deep respect for your nervous system's pace. In practical terms, what this means is that we'll gently work directly with your brain, body, and the parts of you that are creating internal tension and overwhelm to help explore the patterns that no longer serve you, release what feels stuck, create safety from the inside out, and help you feel more clear, calm, and connected in your life and relationships.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a holistic practitioner, I believe both mind and body play a role in our health. Though I work in the psychological and emotional realms given my scope of practice, I believe sleep, movement/exercise, hydration, rest, nutrition, and community/social connection all play a role in mental health. I am mindful of these integrative health practices in my own life, and see the work I do as complimentary to, and easily integrated into, a holistic lifestyle approach.
