About My Clients
I am here to help you reach your goals. Working in the Mental health, and substance use field for the past 10 years has taught me healing does not necessarily come from one path. Based on the positive outcomes and feedback with those I have treated, I use an integrative healthcare approach, I assess the whole person including body, mind, and spirit in the context of community, considering lifestyle and habits; I work by looking at the whole person and not just symptoms.
My Background and Approach
I can provide therapy in Spanish or English. I work mainly using tele therapy in the state of Florida. I am a psychologist in Colombia, South America, and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida. I am also certified to work with trauma, diagnose and treat personality disorders. I am also a qualified supervisor for graduate students seeking to obtain their master’s degree in mental health. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that wellbeing is a general state of "contentment" with life and the way things are. In this state of contentment, we experience a sense of balance and connection to a purpose. In my practice I explore with you the main areas of wellbeing and the blockages that have been impeding you to reach your best. I see therapy as a teamwork between you and me in where you share your own experiences and I provide my clinical expertise to implement an individualized plan that works for you.
