About My Clients
You’ve been holding it together for everyone else — your family, your job, your relationship — but quietly, something feels off. Maybe you can’t name it. Maybe you’ve been told you’re “too sensitive.” You might be a first-generation professional carrying the weight of two worlds, a couple losing connection, or someone exhausted from performing “fine.” You don’t need a diagnosis to deserve support. If traditional therapy never felt right for you, you’re in the right place.
My Background and Approach
I’m Mariana, a bilingual LCSW with 8 years of experience working with individuals and couples. I graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Masters in Social Work and am licensed in Florida. My approach is warm, modern, and deeply human. I blend CBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and trauma-informed care — but what matters most is that you feel genuinely heard, not analyzed. I work in the space between who the world says you should be and who you actually are. That’s what MiddleSpace means. I work with adults, teens, and elders navigating anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, life transitions, ADHD, body image, and more. Sessions are virtual, available statewide in Florida, in English or Spanish.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should feel like a conversation, not a clinical evaluation. I am a culturally sensitive, LGBTQ+ allied, and racially inclusive therapist who creates a judgment-free space for all identities and backgrounds. I am especially passionate about serving the Latino community and first-generation immigrants who often carry the unique weight of navigating between two cultures. I believe healing doesn’t require a diagnosis — it requires being truly seen. That belief is at the heart of everything I do at MiddleSpace.
