About My Clients
My ideal clients are teens and adults feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD/OCD-related symptoms, or eating concerns. They may feel stuck, exhausted, or disconnected from themselves but are ready to better understand their experiences and build practical coping skills. Together, we'll work collaboratively to help you move from feeling controlled by your emotions to feeling more confident, empowered, and in the driver's seat of your life.
My Background and Approach
My approach is evidence-based, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Motivational Interviewing to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical tools for lasting change. Clients often describe me as warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental. I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important parts of the healing process, so I strive to create an environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, giving feedback, and taking an active role in your treatment. One of the greatest privileges of my work is witnessing clients move from feeling weighed down by difficult thoughts and emotions to feeling empowered and equipped with skills they can use long after therapy ends.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy is both a beautiful and challenging journey. Sometimes it provides answers, and sometimes it brings new questions. Both are valuable. Healing isn't about eliminating every difficult emotion—it's about learning how to make space for your experiences without allowing them to control your life. I often describe therapy as the process of moving from a place where emotions are "running the show" to a place where you're back in the driver's seat. That doesn't mean life becomes easy or emotions disappear. It means developing the awareness, flexibility, and coping skills to respond intentionally rather than react automatically. I also believe therapy should be a space where all thoughts and feelings are welcome. Growth happens when we can honestly acknowledge our experiences while continuing to move toward meaningful change. My hope is that our work together helps you better understand yourself, build resilience, and create a life that aligns with your values—not one that's
