I enjoy working with individuals, couples, children, teens, and families from diverse backgrounds. My focus areas of work include Anxiety, Depression, Stress Management, ADHD, Grief & Loss, Transitional Life Events, Trauma & Resilience, Personal Relationship Issues, Couple Problems, Personal Growth, Separation & Divorce, Parenting Issues, Self Esteem, Anger Management, Attachment and Communication issues.
My Background and Approach
My personal therapeutic approach is caring, intuitive, compassionate, culturally sensitive, welcoming, engaging, supportive, and appreciative of differences. I use evidence-based modalities and interventions, such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strength-based Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Play Therapy, and Mindfulness Based Therapies. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with emphasis on Law from University of California, Irvine (UCI) & Master of Dispute Resolution from University of Southern California (USC) Gould School of Law. I’m currently a second year Master of Marriage & Family Therapy (MFT) student attending Loma Linda University (LLU).
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m passionate about helping individuals in their healing journeys, meeting their current needs, and assisting them in becoming the best version of themselves in any aspect. I believe in creating a safe, open, nurturing, supportive, and sensitive space for individuals to discuss their issues and work through difficulties, challenges, traumas, and life experiences.
