My Background and Approach
I earned my Masters in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling and I also maintain licenses in the areas of trauma, addiction and vocational counseling. I have experience working in inpatient, outpatient and state agencies, where I have served young children to older adults. While, I have a passion in selective mental health areas, I have provided therapy for a variety of mental health diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, career changes, anxiety, ADHD, self-esteem, substance use issues, and OCD. In addition, I have also worked with individuals on the ASD spectrum to modify behavior in order to enter employment and improve social behaviors.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My philosophy is simple: there is always a pattern, and awareness is the first step to change. I specialize in tracing symptoms back to their initial stressors to stop the cycle of "repeating what we don’t repair." By combining the neuroscience of EMDR with Integrative Health and somatic practices, I help clients move beyond talk therapy into deep, physiological healing. I know you possess a resilience you haven't fully tapped into yet. Together, we will use an eclectic, personalized approach to unlock that strength and build a life of adaptive, healthy behaviors.
