About My Clients
If you’re willing to show up as you are—unfiltered, unsure, or in transition—and give therapy a real chance, that’s more than enough. You don’t need to have it all figured out. Just be open to exploring who you are beneath the roles, expectations, and past wounds. Healing isn’t always easy, but it’s worth it. You deserve space to feel, reflect, and reconnect with your authentic self—at your pace, in your way.
My Background and Approach
As a person and therapist, “My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.” – Maya Angelou. I work with children, teens, and adults from all backgrounds, offering a authentic, inclusive space for identity exploration, boundary work, inner child healing, and reshaping past, present, and future narratives. As a fully virtual therapist for the state of NC, I support clients in doing deep inner work, building self-trust, and working to personal goals. I know healing can feel tough, but it’s also a powerful journey of rediscovery and growth. If you’re ready to embrace your true self, rewrite your story, and build joyful connections with yourself and others, I’m here to support you with kindness and openness. Let’s walk this path together. I hope to work together to share space and learn your light.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a First Generation Sierra Leonean Muslim American, I find that with the alignment of my identities it’s of the upmost important to be an advocate for all. My beliefs always flow back to the humanity within us all, and that means servicing all populations from the LGBTQ+ community, BIPOC communities, those with disabilities, etc. No one is excluded in the space, and it’s my hope for each person to feel seen and attended to for their optimal wellness and how they want to meet their goals. I believe in helping those seek liberation in their own lives in whichever way they see fit, whilst also assessing how their values and causes align with their authentic self. As a minority, I know what it feels like to be on the other side of recieveing difficult care, having to advocate for myself, and reclaim myself and voice in a world that often chooses to silence minorities. I’m always open to discussing further where a client’s values lie.
