About My Clients
I work best with young adults who feel stuck in people-pleasing, guilt, and shame that make it hard to live authentically. If you're struggling with anxiety, shame, boundary-setting, the loss of a relationship, or a deep sense of "not enough," I see you. I love supporting young women who are curious, ready to explore their inner world, and want to build more resilience and self-acceptance. I'm available Mondays - Thursdays for telehealth therapy sessions. Reach out to get started!
My Background and Approach
My background is in outpatient individual therapy, working with young adult women and older teen girls ages 16 and up. I'm a BIPOC clinician and LGBTQ+ affirming. If you're looking for a therapist who is warm, engaged, and real, we could be a good fit! My style is down-to-earth and active. I help women working through attachment wounds, relationship challenges, shame, boundaries, and life transitions. This can look like anxiety/constant overthinking, low self-esteem, and relational patterns that feel like déjà vu (people-pleasing, perfectionism, and negative self-talk). Whether you're navigating a difficult breakup, complicated family dynamics, or a season of change, I offer a relaxed space to drop the mask, feel truly heard, and learn tools to help cope with stressors. My approach is grounded in an attachment/relational framework and values-based work. I use ACT, EFT, CBT, mindfulness, relational-cultural theory, and compassion-focused therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I practice from a place of cultural humility, affirmation, and empowerment. Going to therapy may feel uncomfortable or unfamiliar - and that's okay. I believe our work is most effective when clients feel emotionally safe enough to show up fully as themselves, so I approach each session with curiosity, empathy, warmth, and a touch of humor. My goal is to create a space where you can be real, explore what matters to you, and deepen your understanding of yourself and your relationships. Outside of therapy, you'll usually find me trying a new coffee shop (or making a matcha latte at home), watching stand-up comedy, spending time with my Havanese dog, Luca, or unwinding with a good TV show.
