About My Clients

My Background and Approach
While working together we will be using evidenced based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as creative tools to not only get to the root of issues, but to also help you to feel confident in your ability to cope. We will uncover coping skills you already have (yes, you already have more than you even realize!) and develop more by using tools clinically proven to work. You can challenge your negative thoughts and develop healthy behaviors in order to increase the positive emotions that are missing from your life. You can wake up in the morning feeling hopeful for and deserving of the promising things that life can hold!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that each individual deserves a best friend- and as the person you will spend the most time with in your life, why not be that for yourself? All too often the things we say to ourselves are meaner than what we would ever say to another person. I believe that self-compassion and holding space for your own emotions can transform your life and open the door to healing. It's amazing how much more willing we are to work through our struggles when we actually believe we're worth it.
