About My Clients
My clients are often navigating trauma, anxiety, or major life transitions. They may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves. Many are seeking a safe, grounded space to process past experiences, build resilience, and reconnect with who they truly are. My clients want to feel more present, empowered, and aligned in their lives, and are ready to take steps toward lasting healing and change.
My Background and Approach
I’m an EMDR-trained therapist who integrates Internal Family Systems or parts work and somatic awareness to support clients in healing from trauma, anxiety, religious wounding, and life transitions. My background as a wilderness therapy guide taught me the value of presence, resilience, and attunement which are qualities I now bring into therapy. My practice is fully virtual, making it easier to access care from wherever you are. My approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative. I believe each person has an innate capacity for healing, and therapy provides a space to reconnect with that inner wisdom. Together, we’ll work at a pace that feels safe, weaving in evidence-based tools with deep respect for your story and nervous system. Whether you are navigating painful memories, seeking greater self-compassion, or wanting to feel more grounded in the present, I offer a supportive environment where growth and change become possible.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in creating a therapy space that is affirming, inclusive, and rooted in respect for all identities and experiences. I welcome LGBTQ+ clients and those navigating religious trauma, and I’m committed to decolonizing and destigmatizing mental health care. I value community, creativity, and finding joy in small, everyday rituals.
