Adulting is hard- and healing shouldn’t be. Anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, grief can prevent us from being our authentic selves. EMDR therapy can help with learning new ways to stay grounded and process those painful triggers that might be causing anxiety, depression, stress, grief or feeling lost. EMDR parent child attachment can help with processing experiences that are preventing you from connecting with your child. We can walk together at your pace towards healing.
My Background and Approach
Healing doesn't happen through quick fixes- it happens through connection, safety, and trust. My approach to therapy is gentle, collaborative, and trauma-informed. Whether we're working through the past or facing present-day challenges, I'll walk with you at your pace with respect and care. My work is rooted in: Trauma-informed care, Attachment and nervous system awarenes, cultural humility Neuro-affirming support, compassion, clarity, and connection. EMDR helps adults process trauma, emotional overwhelm, and stuck patterns. It's a structured, evidence-based approach that supports the brain's natural healing process, so you don't have to relive the past to heal from it. I often integrate expressive arts, sand tray, and movement to facilitate the healing process.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone has the capacity to become their authentic self. I think past experience inherited patterns shape our ability to cope with current stressors.
