About My Clients
Mama, you deserve to thrive. Parenthood is HARD. Whether you're trying to conceive, have a young child, or are untangling the impacts of 30 years of motherhood, your complex story deserves to be heard. In our sessions, we will create a space where you can feel safe to explore who you truly are, drop the f* bomb, cry about your own upbringing, celebrate the wins, and admit that motherhood (sometimes) sucks. You CAN feel safe and whole again. Let's do some powerful work together.
My Background and Approach
The tools you'll learn with me are rooted in evidence. Some will be more present and future focused, like in our first session when we really hone in on what your goals for therapy are. Others will be focused on healing the past including attachment trauma processing and nervous system regulation tools. We can work together to heal your wounds. You're here because something in your past didn't go the way you'd hoped. It may be one BIG event, or it may be many tiny episodes that have added up over time. I see you, I get you. Let's work together to untangle and treat your wounds. We will craft a game plan. "I learned a lot with my last therapist... but I didn't change." Yeah, I've been there, too. Beginning with our first session, we will identify your goals and set a plan in motion to make them happen with regular accountability and celebration.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I moved to St Louis from California, so you can bet I'm down to accept all parts of you: LGBTQ+, culture, kink, love of weed. Bring it to the table; I'm here for it. In a past life (aka, before kids), I traveled the world with my partner for 10 years (we even met in Guatemala!) I am a registered yoga teacher and mindfulness has been a part of my life since I took my first breath. I believe everyone (yes, EVERYONE) is whole and good at their core. Even when you don't believe, I will keep that candle lit for you. I believe in your light, just as I believe in mine.
